Installed aplications include iLife with iPhoto, iMovie, Garage Band, & iWeb, Mail & web browsing via Safari. Time Machine provides a superb backup facility & Text edit reads Microsofts incompatible docx files & every document you can print to PDF to name a few advanced features. For an office suite that dosnt cost the earth or drive you mad, iWork is very reasonable.

Consider an external drive for use with Time Machine to back up your Mac
Still need Windows? no problem VMWare Fusion runs Windows virtually & use VMWare converter to export your PC to run in Fusion.

Mac mini - the smallest & cheapest, use your own screen, keyboard & mouse with this ultra compact machine that has class leading low power consuption, dont be fooled by pint sized cab, this has plenty of power & now comes with a HDMI output for video.

I would prefer - A simple method to access internals please - like the G4 Cube.

iMac - elegant, compact & powerful, everything in a case not much larger than a standard dsiplay, 21.5" & 27" versions. New keyboard has no num keys but old type can be specified. Make sure you spec what you need as upgrade to internals involves dealer or extreme DIY.

Mac Pro - A Mac on steroids, the most powerful & customisable Mac, expand & configure as required. Base spec a bit limiting but add a reasonable amount of ram - 8Gb & uprated graphics to make one amazing platform, raw power for serious graphics, video or 3D. Construction quality is best Ive ever seen.& access to internal components a doddle. Take care if considering single CPU version, its different to dual.

I would prefer - the two sata headers terminated with a bracket on the rear, thats it.
